The Two Hills Swimming Pool is located in the Town limits of Two Hills, which is one and a half hours Northeast of Edmonton, AB.  Our pool is a 25m four-lane pool with an attached tot pool & sauna.  We currently are looking for two full time positions, of Manager and Sr. lifeguard.  Will also consider these positions as part time.

The well-equipped Aquatic Centre at MacDonald Island Park features a 10 lane, 54 metre Olympic-sized competitive pool with two movable bulkheads. Position Overview

We are seeking as Aquatic Supervisor, Programs a committed team player who will work tirelessly to ensure the operational success of our brand new, state-of-the-art aquatic centre. The Aquatic Supervisor, Programs is a critical member of our Aquatic Management and Aquatic Leadership Teams. Working cooperatively with two other Aquatic Supervisors (Risk Management and Recruitment & Training) and under the direction of an Aquatic Manager, (s)he will design and implement safe and effective user-based programs and services, schedule instructional employees, supervise employee and program performance, contract user groups, ensure compliance with policies and procedures and work as an effective member of Mi Team.

Identifying A Suitable Candidate

Our Aquatic Supervisor, Programs must be detail-oriented, a talented multi-tasker, be extremely organized, administratively-oriented, possess excellent computer skills, and be well-experienced in the aquatic and recreation industries. A post-secondary education in recreation and leisure studies or a closely related field, coupled with advanced certifications in instructor-training and lifeguard examination and several years of experience supervising aquatic employees and programs and services should provide a desirable candidate. All aquatic employees are expected to provide world-class service to our members, guests and program participants.

The Society works to prevent drowning and water-related injury through lifesaving training programs, Water Smart® public education, aquatic safety management services, water incident research, and lifesaving sport competitions. The Lifesaving Society Alberta and Northwest Territories seeks a Program Director to provide leadership and direction to achieve results for the educational and training programs through collaboration with the Society's staff and volunteers.

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Program Director who seeks a challenging and compelling position; someone who is an excellent communicator who can build and strengthen relationships inside and outside of the Society through personal integrity and team work.

Based in Edmonton, the Program Director position is permanent and full-time (36.25 hours weekly). The successful candidate will be able to work nights and weekends outside the regular office schedule when required.
