The Rady Jewish Community Centre is Winnipeg's leading cultural, recreational and fitness centre serving the Jewish community and the community at large.

This position is responsible for developing and supervising the Rady JCC's aquatic and safety programs for children, teens and adults. This includes planning programs, recruiting and supervising instructors, budgeting, scheduling group and private lessons and providing superior customer service to all participants of Rady JCC programs and services.
The ideal candidate will have an Undergraduate degree in a related field. WSIT, LSIT and NLSI certification would be an asset. Pool operator (CPO) designation and aquatic fitness certification would be an asset.

We are looking for a Head Guard who can perform some administrative and maintenance tasks on top of their Lifeguarding and Instructing Requirements. For this the ideal candidate shall have the following descriptors:
- Responsible and safety oriented lifeguard
- Pool Operations and Building Maintenance (water tests, knowledge of pool filtration and heating systems)
- Excellent Public Relations skills
- Team player
- Computer literate (Word, Excel and internet skills)
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Motivated
- Can work with little or no supervision
- Creative
Other experience or certifications that we would find desirable:
