- National Office
- The Lifesaving Society, the lifeguarding experts, works to prevent drownings and water-related
injuries through its training programs, drowning research, Water Smart® public education and aquatic safety
management services.
- Alberta & NWT
- The Lifesaving Society is a National, nonprofit, voluntary organization that has been training
swimmers to be lifesavers and lifeguards since 1908. We are dedicated to the prevention of water-related incidents
and the saving of life in aquatic environments across Canada.
- British Columbia & Yukon
- The Lifesaving Society (formerly the Royal Lifesaving Society) is a not-for-profit organization
whose mandate is to reduce water-related death and injury. The Society has been educating the public and training
lifesavers and lifeguards in B.C. since 1911.
- New Brunswick
- The Lifesaving Society is a national, charitable, not-for-profit,
volunteer-based organization dedicated to saving lives through drowning
prevention. The Lifesaving Society has already taught over two million Canadians
to save lives in aquatic environments.
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- The Newfoundland and Labrador Branch of the Lifesaving Society joined as a member of the Royal
Lifesaving Society on May 23, 1969. Approximately 2,000 individuals in Newfoundland and Labrador are trained and
certified annually in the awards of the Canadian Lifesaving Program.

- The Lifesaving Society - Nova Scotia Branch is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to
preventing accidents and saving life in aquatic environments. It has been training swimmers to be lifesavers,
lifeguards and instructors since 1896.
- Ontario
- The Lifesaving Society works to prevent drowning and water-related injury through our training
programs, Water Smart® public education and aquatic safety management services. On average, more than 600 Canadians
die every year in water-related incidents – most of them in unsupervised settings.
- Quebec
- La Société de sauvetage est un organisme humanitaire dont la raison d'être est la préservation de la
vie humaine. Chef de file en surveillance aquatique au Québec depuis 1909, c'est par la sensibilisation, l'éducation

- Saskatchewan
- The Lifesaving Society is a national, charitable, volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated
to the prevention of drowning and aquatic incidents throughout Canada. Since 1896 the Society has provided lifesaving
education which encourages safety in aquatic activity and prepares rescuers to respond to aquatic emergencies.

- Royal Life Saving Society - New Zealand
- The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), New Zealand is a voluntary
